Dear Friends,

Greetings from the heart of Iowa! This year again we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our employees, customers and friends for your continued support. Over the years, we feel we have come to know many of you personally in taking your repeated orders and talking with you over the phone or in person. Getting to know you and your connection to Lewright Meats is one of the highlights of our season. We met many new people this year as we were featured in the “Our Iowa” magazine. The article shared about our 76 year history of producing our special products, sold in our unique meat market and delicatessen.

It is the time of year when the words “family business” takes on a new meaning as my wife Barb, her sister Nancy and husband Roger, my step-mom Allalee, along with Ethan and me, all share in the task of sending out our Christmas packages.

We have been busy preparing for the holiday season. Our combinations feature our own delicious Hickory smoked, slowed cured meats in a variety of package and price ranges. We do have a website where you can view pictures of each package. Our website is: lewrightmeats.biz

If you are a new customer or are unfamiliar with our establishment, we would like you to know that we are a small, family-owned business (since 1936) that places high priority on quality. We process, cure, and smoke our products over actual burning Hickory logs. Also, none of our products have water added, so the full flavor of the meat is there to enjoy.

We’ve enjoyed meeting many of our mail-order customers as you’ve traveled through our town, or have been here visiting relatives. Thanks again for all the encouragement you’ve given us with your compliments and your business!
